1.2 Information We Collect Automatically
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers
- Behavioral data: pages visited, features used, booking flow interactions, time on platform
- Location data (where permitted): approximate location to power proximity-based features

- Social login providers (e.g., Google, Apple) if you choose to connect

3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share information in the following circumstances:
3.1 With Travel Providers
When you make a booking, we share the information necessary to complete that booking with the relevant hotel, flight, or experience provider (e.g., name, contact details, travel dates).
3.2 With Event Hosts
If you book travel through an event link, the Event Host receives aggregated booking data (number of attendees, booking volume) to facilitate commission tracking. Your individual booking details are not shared without your consent.
3.3 With Service Providers
We share data with trusted vendors who process it on our behalf, including payment processors, authentication providers, database infrastructure, and customer support tools. These vendors are bound by data processing agreements.
3.4 For Legal Reasons
We may disclose information where required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Runwae, our users, or the public.
3.5 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred to the acquiring entity, subject to the same protections described here.
4. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Upon account deletion, we will remove or anonymize personal data within 90 days, unless retention is required by law (e.g., tax records, fraud investigations).
